Review: Melters Indeed

Over the course of this five-song, 13-minute EP, the Melters cover all that territory and more. “Colorblind” tears out of the gate like every song I liked in 1988 but with better harmonies. “Under the Covers” probably brings out the Nirvana in them, but the Melters are reticent to let these little creations fall into noise. Instead, their songs manage to sound polished without being sterile.

Essential Tracks: “Under the Covers,” “Biorhythm,” “Polio Addict”

Recommended if you like: Green Day, Nirvana, you know, happy music
