Riffs: Wilson Savoy, accordionist and fiddler for the Pine Leaf Boys

Thursday, March 27, 2008

“I love barrel-house, honky-tonk piano playing. The coolest album I’ve ever heard is James Booker’s solo album, Resurrection of the Bayou Maharajah. His voice and piano playing will make you jump out of your shoes. Next to that, Cajun music is my passion, and I love all good Cajun music played with spunk, energy and looseness, like what we do.”
