Papa Murphy’s has tossed together a new twist on Valentine’s for Baton Rouge—heart-shaped pizzas to commemorate the traditional day of love. The loving pizza pies are a first in Baton Rouge, according to Carell Grass and Jennifer Keen of Arkel Food Service, which operates Papa Murphy’s locally.
“The idea originated in Portland, Ore., and is a part of the history at the Papa Murphy’s chain.” Heart-shaped pizzas will be available Feb. 13 and 14. Papa Murphy’s, which opened in Baton Rouge in March 2007, sells prepared, oven-ready pizzas at a half-dozen Baton Rouge-area locations.
