Riffs: Glenn Scott Harris, guitarist, The Way*High Men

“Warning: This album may cause you to think of your ex-girlfriend. I discovered Neil Young’s Harvest Moon as a young suburban metal-head, and it was like falling into another world. I’m not a music critic, but I think Neil is a great storyteller. Harvest Moon has a beautiful sound with lots of depth and layers in seemingly simple arrangements. The harmonies are huge.

On the album Neil says he has a problem in being a dreamin’ man. I can seriously relate to this, but I think this record reflects a spiritual man who lives his dreams and is very good at putting out his deepest emotions in plainspoken, but beautiful, song.”
