“Two of my favorite recent album purchases are Spoon’s Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga and Wilco’s Sky Blue Sky. Both bands do a great job of combining smart pop sensibilities, great lyrics and awesome studio production. My band listens to these records constantly while we are out on the road, and we keep liking them more and more. From the brilliantly played guitars on Sky Blue Sky by Nels Cline to the flamenco guitars and trumpets on Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga, these records rule.”
