It’s Black & White

Monday, October 1, 2007

We’ve all heard the joke—what’s black, white and read all over? A newspaper, of course. The Young Professionals of the LSU Museum of Art sticks to that with its semi-annual MOA Nights event Oct. 5. in conjunction with the museum’s latest exhibit, The Line that Roars: Editorial Cartoons in the Age of Anxiety. Taking over three floors of the Shaw Center, MOA Nights offers art plus great food, drinks and live entertainment throughout. Partygoers are encouraged to dress in black and white. Tickets are $5 for LSU MOA members and $10 for the general public. The event is from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. For more October events, check out 225’s TimeOut Calendar on page 101. lsumoa.com.
