Key Louisiana constitutional amendments

• Senate Bill No. 2: To prohibit cutting state salary supplements for full-time cops and firemen.

• Senate Bill No. 127: Stops the Legislature from adding benefits for members of any state retirement system without coming up with a way to pay for the benefits in 10 years.

• House Bill No. 486: Jewelry sold on consignment would no longer be subject to property taxes.

Key East Baton Rouge propositions

• Allow for the sale of alcoholic beverages on Sundays

• Allow the city of Central to collect 2% sales tax on retail sales there
