“What is art but the output from humans of the experience of being alive? It comes through us whether we initiate it or not, and it comes in a variety of forms. It can be what you listen to, the sounds you make, the way you move, the food you eat or how you dress. Art surrounds us on every level, and the ability to recognize these connections determines our ability to appreciate them. The effort to ‘involve’ oneself in art is futile because we are already submerged in it. Art is a necessity, as it remains a byproduct of life.”
