After a couple of years, the other sales manager left, and not long after that Price got hurt and was confined to a wheelchair. That’s when I took over, and I’ve been doing it ever since.”

Road to your living room: “I inherited this job in 1992 when Leah Salsbury’s brother, Mark Salsbury, died. The family basically came to me one day and told me I had a new job doing their commercials. I wasn’t sure I wanted to do it, but they didn’t give me much choice! We started commercials the next day.”

I was a broadcast journalism major, and one day my older brother asked me if I wanted to do it, so I just kind of went out there and did it. It’s not like there was any kind of audition or anything.
