Naturally, Louisiana Technology Park President Eddie Ashworth and Vice President Stephen Loy are supreme techies, and they of course bought iPhones the day they were released. Ashworth drove to nearly every Cingular provider in town to find the shortest line. Loy was on a family vacation in Orange Beach, but drove to the outlet mall in Foley, Ala., and bought the last 8-gig gadget in stock.
“I used a BlackBerry before, but I could never hold one up to my ear,” says Ashworth. “I felt like Maxwell Smart with his shoe phone.”
“Eddie was all over the iPhone as soon as Steve Jobs made the announcement,” Loy interjects.
“Yeah,” says Ashworth. “I just had to have one.”
They both store plenty of music and video on their iPhones, but what else do they use them for?
