“First, we based our name on the Greek intellect Epicurus (341-270 B.C.) who lived his life with great temperance and simplicity. Very basically, his philosophy was that one may attain freedom from the world around you through knowledge, and that tranquility and contentment is achieved through the moderate pleasures of good food, drink and the arts. It was only natural when we formed this nonprofit organization that our donations and proceeds go towards helping in the areas of childhood health and nutrition, and funding scholarships for those students interested in our profession, and honoring our own for lifetime achievements.” bresbr.com
