Promoter JL Concert Productions has managed to pull together its three-day outdoor music festival, Rock-N-Rouge, with just a few weeks to spare.

As of presstime, Rock-N-Rouge was a go for Oct. 6-8 at the Mayeux Ranch off River Road.

Months ago, organizer Brad BonGiovanni drummed up interest in Rock-N-Rouge by dropping names like Pearl Jam, Radiohead and LeAnn Rimes. Turns out those artists won’t appear, but BonGiovanni insists Rock-N-Rouge still has plenty of highlights. Headlining Day One are folk-punk legends The Violent Femmes, Austin indie favorites Spoon and rock band Lit. Country-themed Day Three will feature hit-makers Big & Rich and Lonestar. Headliners for Day Two were not available at presstime.

Single-day general admission tickets are $39 in advance, $25 for students with current ID and $19.50 for kids. Admission is free for children under 10, war veterans and active military with proper ID. rocknrouge.com.
