Tacos and enchiladas are pretty common fare in Baton Rouge, but where can you get a crawfish taco or a seafood relleno to die for? Mestizo Louisiana Mexican Restaurant has us hooked on their seafood renditions of Mexican favorites such as rellenos, enchiladas, chimichangas and burritos. A personal favorite: crawfish tacos—warm flour (or corn) tortillas wrap around fat sautéed crawfish tails, topped by cool, crispy lettuce, lush guacamole and plenty of pico de gallo, fresh jalapenos and more.
