Renaissance takes guests to the Red Stick Farmers Market
Guests of the Renaissance Hotel will be in for a treat this weekend. The hotel is offering a shuttle to the Red Stick Farmers Market Saturday, March 7, at 10 a.m. All guests need to do is sign up at the desk. During the ride, a chef from the hotel’s restaurant Tallulah will give attendees some information on fresh produce. Tallulah will also host a Raptor Ridge Wine Dinner Wednesday, March 11. The menu will feature dishes from executive chef Andy Papson. Cost is $75 per person. For more information, call 215-7000.

On the road: Pig and Plough Suppers teams up with Lafayette chefs
Pig and Plough Suppers, a slow foods dinner series that celebrates Louisiana foodways, will host its next event at The Saint Street Inn in Lafayette (407 Brook Ave., Lafayette, LA, 70506). The dinner, titled “Flowers,” kicks off at 6 p.m. Monday, April 13, and features dishes from Chef Kelsey Leger of The Saint Street Inn and Chef Blair Burton of Social Southern Table and Bar. Tickets are $75, and all proceeds go to a local foods charity. For more information, click here.
