A nationwide craft beer and food event will get a taste of Louisiana.

Arnaudville’s Bayou Teche Brewing was chosen as one of 73 small and independent craft breweries to participate at SAVOR Craft Beer & Food Experience. The Brewers Association’s eighth annual event features two beers from selected breweries as well as a a reception-style sampling of sweet and savory small plates. The event takes place in Washington, D.C., June 5 and 6.

This is the third time in Bayou Teche’s five-year history that the brewery has been chosen to attend the event. At this year’s SAVOR, Bayou Teche will bring its Loup Garou bourbon barrel-aged stout and Bayou Peche peach IPA. The former will be paired with steak tartare with soubise, sea salt, cocoa nibs and caper berries. The latter will be paired with whipped brie with coriander syrup and candied kumquat. Brewers Association executive chef Adam Duyle designed the dishes.
