Events picks: Family Dinner spoofs ‘Home Alone’

Home Alone is the movie that made Macaulay Culkin a household name. This weekend, it will be skewered as the subject of Family Dinner Comedy Troupe’s Spoof Night! The Mystery Science Theatre-style interactive movie night kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, at Manship Theatre. For those unfamiliar with the ’90s film, Culkin stars as a young boy who gets mistakenly left behind when his family visits Paris during Christmas. Everything is going swell until two burglars (Daniel Stern and Joe Pesci) arrive. The event is rated R, due to improv content. Tickets are $11. Get more information.
