Baton Rouge Mardi Gras krewes are joining forces for a good cause this weekend.
Nonprofit organization Krewes for Food hosts its sixth annual party at The Station Sports Bar and Grill (4608 Bennington Ave.) Saturday, June 20, at 8 p.m. The theme is a tropical beach bash. Singer Allison Collins performs at 10 p.m.

The event raises money and food for the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank. Attendees can bring non-perishable items or cash to enter. Attendees do not need to be in a krewe to participate.
The preregistered group with the highest cash and non-perishable totals will be awarded.
