Solar Viewing

When: Saturday, May 10, 2008, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: Highland Road Park Observatory

Cost: Free

Age limit: All ages

Description: Weather permitting, viewing of the Sun through safety filters will take place for two hours. Any sizable sunspots or flares will be visible. Protective clothing and sunscreen are recommended. The Moon, Venus and Mercury will also be available for viewing at this time.
