Description: A poetry slam is a spoken word competition in which spoken word artists intensely perform their own written work before a live audience. Pieces run the gamut from tragically personal to insanely humorous. After each performance, a panel of five judges holds up scores, on a scale of 0 to 10.
Volunteers are needed to fill time slots throughout the competition.
