Description: The Ladies of Gamma Eta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated are hosting the 50th Annual Ebony Fashion Fair at 3pm on March 9, 2008 at the Felton G. Clark Activity Center on the campus of Southern University. This annual fundraiser will benefit the chapter’s Scholarship Fund.
EBONY FASHION FAIR will bring fabulous to fashion followers everywhere with GLAM ODYSSEY: A Fashion Journey Into Bliss & Beyond! This highly anticipated 50th anniversary show is fierce and features the hottest designs the fashion industry has to offer. Ticket holders will witness glamour redefined while taking an unforgettable journey through five decades of fashion.
GLAM ODYSSEY begins September 12th in suburban Chicago and will light up
runways in more than 180 cities in the U.S., Canada, Bermuda and Jamaica through May 2008.
Thirteen models embodying a variety of shades and shapes will don the latest
styles by world famous designers including Christian Dior, Oscar de la Renta, Dolce & Gabbana, Carolina Herrera, Bill Blass and Jean Louis Scherrer.
Each ticket includes a choice of a one-year subscription to EBONY magazine or a six-month subscription to JET magazine. In addition, ticket holders will have a chance to win fabulous door prizes such as round trip air transportation for two to any destination served by AMERICAN AIRLINES or AMERICAN EAGLE in the domestic U.S. 49 states and a 2008 Ford Edge by FORD Motor Company.
Ticket holders can also have a chance to win products from the No. 1 cosmetic
company in the world for women of color, FASHION FAIR COSMETICS.
EBONY FASHION FAIR is an exciting and entertaining experience. Since its
