Description: The 2008 Komen Baton Rouge Race for the Cure® is the largest 5K race in the Capital Region. Along with raising awareness of breast cancer and celebrating survivorship, the goal of the Race for the Cure® is to raise funds for breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs in our region, with an emphasis on underserved groups and areas.
