Description: Stargazers Camp is not an average day camp. Lots of children attend camp to spend their summer swimming, running and playing games. That, of course, is wonderful—but some children like to learn special subjects and have unique challenges. That's what Stargazers Camp is all about. We might not create future athletes, but we just might create future astronomers, engineers and astronauts! For one week, your child is immersed in the fascinating world of astronomy and space science. They have the opportunity to learn about comets, asteroids and craters. They will also enjoy hands-on activities like soda rockets, telescope kits, constellation identification, planet crafts, sundial creation, helicopters and going on a fascinating field trip.
Session One is 2 June to 6 June, 8am to 1pm daily. Session One is for ages six and seven.
