Description: Bring your family and join Tom Newby of Jim Henson’s New York Muppet Workshop as he shares his experiences creating special effects for television and movies. He will trace the development of remote controls and other electro-mechanical devices used to enhance puppet movement and computer-generated characters. This event is free and open to the public.

Visitors enjoy FREE admission to LASM galleries and auditoriums and REDUCED admission to Jim Henson’s Fantastic World and planetarium features.
