Description: Starting Sunday, April 6, and for the four consecutive Sundays in April, the Arts Council will present folk-rock, Cajun, R&B, and blues music acts as part of the new spring line-up for Sunday in the Park. Sunday in the Park is a series of free outdoor concerts in Lafayette Park at the Shaw Center for the Arts from 12 noon – 3 p.m.
Baton Rouge residents and visitors alike are encouraged to gather together with friends, family and neighbors for excellent live music downtown under the oaks and next to the mighty Mississippi River.
