All proceeds will benefit the Children's Heart Foundation, an organization funding research for children with congenital and acquired heart disease, and Camp Bon Coeur in Lafayette, a summer camp for children with heart defects.
A silent auction with pieces donated from local artists will be held for the beneficiaries. Some of the artists who have generously donated pieces include New Orleans favorites like George Rodriquez, the creator of the Blue Dog and Mignon Faget, world renowned jewelry designer. Also, a ten piece band, "Bobby J and Stuff Like That", will be the entertainment for the evening. Anyone can bid for the online silent art auction at www.artfortheheartbr.com prior to the event. Online bidding will close Thursday, November 8th at 5pm and will reconvene at the gala.
