Description: I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO LEARN TO DRAW
Saturday, June 9, 10am--2:30pm
If you think you_re not artistic or talented, but you_ve always had the deep urge to draw, this workshop is for you. The different aspects of perceptual and conceptual drawing will be explained. Participants will learn how to access the “Right Brain” or the R-Mode. The highlight of the program will be a hands-on session involving learning to SEE and DRAW the 3-D world in front of you. You CAN learn to DRAW! All materials will be supplied. Bring a bag lunch.
Facilitated by Billie Bourgeois, B.A., MFA, Certified Master Teacher Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. Presently, Billie works full time in her studio and offers private studio instruction. She retired from the East Baton Rouge Public School System where she taught visual arts at Baton Rouge Magnet High School for 10 years.
