Description: Mike Henry, comedic writer, supervising producer and voice actor of Family Guy, will take you behind the scenes of the hit animated television show on Monday, November 20 at 7 p.m. in the Union Cotillion Ballroom.
Henry will show never-before-seen clips and hilarious outtakes from Family Guy as well as discuss how he developed the show’s funniest characters. He will also talk about his success and give advice on following dreams of becoming a comedy writer.
Mike met Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane at the Rhode Island School of Design and has been working on the show since its premiere. He has created and voiced characters such as Cleveland, Cleveland Jr., Herbert the old man, the Performance Artist, and the Greased-Up Deaf Guy.
His hidden-camera show parody Kicked in the Nuts has been downloaded over one million times at kickedinthenuts.com. Other award-winning shorts that he wrote and directed with his brother can be seen on the Burly Bear network.
Henry has also appeared in Yes Dear, The Gilmore Girls, American Dad!, Robot Chicken and commercials for Heineken, Foot Locker and Home Depot.
