Description: “Herbs and Spices for the Holidays” will be the theme of White Oak Plantation’s next Culinary Garden Seminar, on Wednesday, November 8, 11:00 AM–2:00 PM. Chef John Folse will feature some of his favorite herbs and spices while demonstrating the preparation of a dish from the lunch menu. Culinary herbalist Sarah Liberta will discuss and demonstrate a variety of edible, fragrant and decorative items made with aromatic spices and herbs, and horticulturist Ed Norred will lead guests on a tour of White Oak’s culinary gardens.
The seminar includes a multi-course gourmet luncheon with a complimentary glass of wine. Each guest will receive complimentary recipes, an herb plant, an HERBS by Sarah herb mix and a copy of Louisiana Cookin’ magazine.
