Description: Our Sundays@4 series continues on May 7th with a reading by author Delaune Michel. A native south Louisianan, Michel comes from a literary family that includes her uncle Andre Dubus, mother Elizabeth Nell Dubus, and cousin, James Lee Burke. Michel worked as an actor in theater, film, and television before turning to fiction. Since then, her short stories have won numerous awards, and she has worked as a founding producer of Spoken Interludes, a salon-style reading series for both rising and established authors. Michel will be reading from her first novel, Aftermath of Dreaming. The reading will be held Sunday, May 7th at 4pm. This program is free and open to the public. (Baton Rouge Gallery)
