I’m feeling a little experimental this week. I’ve already tried fitting eight peanuts into each nostril, but that didn’t work out so well. And I don’t even want to tell you what happened with the butter and my car’s engine. Let’s just say it was magical. In keeping with this edgy experimentation, I’m going to play around with the slide show feature on 225BatonRouge.com and you’re all coming along for the ride. I advise you to pay attention, as it’ll surely go quickly. And don’t eat the complimentary peanuts. Who knows where those suckers have been.
Question: What’s that place on Essen next to the hospital?
Answer: The LSU Rural Life Museum, Windrush Gardens and Burden Research Plantation
I hate to admit I hadn’t actually been to The Rural Life Museum on Essen Lane despite growing up in Baton Rouge. Shame. Shame. Marissa is my name. But on Friday I went for a media luncheon and you’re about to experience a handful of the museum’s gems. Just click the link and enjoy. If you happen to be a complete stranger and haven’t endured any of my photo slide shows yet, well there’s a first time for everything. If you’re like me and you haven’t ducked into the museum yet, well you should give it some thought. Ready for the show? One. Two. Three. Click me.
