Boutin’s adds ‘Cajun Breakfast’ to menu

Boutin’s Cajun Restaurant (Map it!) is jumping into the breakfast game starting Monday, May 7, serving up a variety of authentic Cajun breakfast dishes at both locations every morning from 6-10 a.m. The menu will include originals like pain perdu French toast, grillades du jour, sweet potato pancakes, shrimp and grits and a signature “Zydeco omelet,” as well as traditional favorites like steak and eggs, all cooked according to family recipes. The breakfast menu will also include seasoned meats from Poche’s Market in Breaux Bridge, including boudin, Acadian smoked sausage, andouille, tasso and more.

“We believe our breakfast menu will soon be a favorite among those people looking for a great breakfast place in Baton Rouge,” says owner Lynn Boutin. With the addition of the breakfast times, Boutin’s will now be open from 6 a.m.- 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 6 a.m.- 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
