East Baton Rouge Schools Superintendent John Dilworth's last day on the job will be Feb. 24, a system spokesman confirmed today. Dilworth's contract was to run out at the end of June, and the school board is currently in the process of selecting his replacement. Dilworth cited health concerns in his decision to leave early, the spokesman says, which was only announced to board members this morning. Plans to deal with the system head's impending departure are not yet available.
