The Walls Project’s Art & Design Center (451 Florida St., Suite 102) hosts a free opening reception Friday at 6 p.m. for its “Navigating Worlds” exhibit, which features works from Mia Kaplan and Maggie Kleinpeter and a live performance and installation by Elise Toups. Toups, another Walls Project muralist, is known for her zoomorphic silhouettes, while Kaplan creates abstract sculptures. Friday’s reception also includes a screening of the short film by Courtney Brandabur and Ian Cessna called Night Realm.
