One of the scariest haunted houses in America opens for the Halloween season. The 13th Gate and Necropolis 13 will be open Friday and Saturday 6:30 p.m.-11:30 p.m. Tickets start at $25. This is the attraction’s 13th year in business. To mark the occasion, owner/founder Dwayne Sanburn asked his customers what they thought was scary, and they responded with one word—clowns. Sanburn and his team got to work on a new finale to the 13th Gate experience, which includes a haunted house at the end of a lane that is home to a serial killer clown—as if the hairs on your body weren’t already standing straight. Sanburn also added new elevator scares to the entrance and a new fire show to Necropolis 13.
