This month one local dance troupe has a serious need for speed.
Utilizing the Hartley/Vey Studio Theatre at Manship Theatre, Cangelosi Dance Project will present Three Minutes or Less. A series of performers, including Sandra Parks, Leonard Augustus, L’Brian Patrick, Roxi Victorian, Carrie Tatum, Cangelosi Dance Project founder Kris Cangelosi and many more, will take turns performing each of their signature works, only in digest form. The clock is ticking, and every dance is being presented in less than 180 seconds.
Selected as one of Business Report‘s Influential Women in Business for 2014, Cangelosi opened her dance studio eight years ago and says one reason for launching the company was because she felt compelled to think differently.
