Lauren Weiner, the creative brain behind the line HEAVYMETAL Jewelry by LW, might say this to guests as they arrive at her fantasy party, one that would take her friends back to the disco-era of New York City in the late 1970s.
“It would have to be on a rooftop, so either the Shaw Center roof at Tsunami or one in New Orleans,” says the 27-year-old wardrobe consultant and Baton Rouge native.
To describe her disco-chic party in one word, Weiner says it would be “extravagant.”
She would invite each of her closest friends, and other acquaintances and artists she knows who love to dance and have a good time, for a night filled with slinky, floor-length dresses, leather jumpsuits and sequins galore.
And Weiner would host the party in a very specific season with one key detail in mind: “It would have to be in January or February,” she says. “Cold enough for me to wear my favorite vintage fur.” facebook.com/hmbylw
