‘That’s the Spirit’ heads to Rum House

A good rum isn’t just for pirates. In this week’s That’s the Spirit, 225 contributor Rivers Hughey heads to The Rum House to try the taqueria’s rum flights. The bar and restaurant that started in New Orleans opened its Capital City location earlier this year. Since hosting its soft opening, owners Michael Buchert and Kelly Ponder have enjoyed daily crowds wanting to experience the Caribbean-style cuisine and signature cocktails.
