An indie rock band out of Nashville visits Baton Rouge. The Kopecky Family Band performs at Spanish Moon Friday. Doors open at 9 p.m. Tickets are $10 online. The Tennessee band released a critically acclaimed debut in 2012, Kids Raising Kids, which featured the hit single “Heartbeat.” According to Paste Magazine, the gang was one of the top live acts in 2011. Last fall, the band released its fourth EP, We’ve Got It Covered. Joining them on the bill is COIN and Pacifico. The latter is a local band, fronted by Matthew Schwartz, and he just wrapped up work on a music video for “I Finally Found What I’m Looking For,” from the 2013 release Without Heroes.
