Pierce Brosnan returns to the genre that made him a star. The actor who played James Bond in the late ’90s in hits such as GoldenEye will take another swing at action in the new movie The November Man. Brosnan plays an ex-CIA operative who finds himself pitted against his former pupil. Olga Kurylenko and Luke Bracey co-star. Roger Donaldson, who filmed Brosnan in the 1997 volcano thriller Dante’s Peak, is in the director’s chair. If successful, The November Man could give Brosnan and Donaldson’s careers a boost. The former hasn’t made a splash since 2005’s The Matador, and the latter’s last film was the straight-to-DVD Seeking Justice starring Nicolas Cage. Rated R. View the trailer below.
