See pop duo Karmin at Dixie Landin’

A pop duo known for its viral video hits will perform as part of the Dixie Landin’ summer concert series this weekend. Karmin plays a free show at Dixie Landin’ Saturday. Gates to the concert grounds open at 6:30 p.m. The show starts at 7 p.m. This is the latest in a string of impressive shows for the theme park, which has also played host to Gavin DeGraw, Daughtry and Cheap Trick this season. The duo is currently on tour in support of its album Pulses, which features the singles “Acapella” and “I Want It All.” For more information on the band, click here.

Pianoke. Local musician Ross Hoppe hosts this karaoke night at Lock and Key Whiskey Bar. 9 p.m.

Circa Amore, Baby in the 90s, Theyadore Ray. Rock bands perform at The Varsity. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10.

Summer Beat. The Remnants perform a free show as part of the summer concert series in front of Ingleside United Methodist Church (4264 Capitol Heights Ave.). 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.
Wayne Toups. The “Zydecajun” performs at The Texas Club. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. The show starts at 10 p.m. Tickets are $15 at the door.
