Go some Mo

After slogging her way through south Louisiana swamps, waking up zoo Tigers by dancing with a cheetah-print scarf wrapped around her body, and hijacking food trucks, among other shenanigans, Mo Isom found herself at home, finally, in one of GoBR’s recent video clips set during an LSU game day.

The former soccer star and Homecoming Queen at the university mixed it up with tailgaters and even nabbed Les Miles’ prime parking spot. “Nothing beats interacting with LSU fans and laughing through a Saturday around Death Valley,” says the 24-year-old motivational speaker. “Plus, the crew let me dance around like an idiot with a trumpet for two hours. I was in my element!”

The video, one of a dozen new tourism clips for Visit Baton Rouge’s GoBR campaign, was released to coincide with football season and will definitely get fans ready to roar in Tiger Stadium.

While filming the series, Isom herself gained a new appreciation for the city of her alma mater.

“It’s easy to pass through a city and only gravitate towards the big stuff,’ but Baton Rouge is full of hidden gems—from crazy juke joints to hidden coffee shops,” Isom says. “The key to having fun in Baton Rouge is taking the initiative to explore.” visitbatonrouge.com/gobr
