‘That’s the Spirit’ checks out craft cocktails and more at Doe’s

Doe’s Eat Place is known for its signature Porterhouse steaks, filets and Delta-style hot tamales. This Friday, 225 contributor Rivers Hughey takes a drive to the Baton Rouge restaurant for a different reason—to try some cocktails from bartender George Krause. In this week’s “That’s the Spirit” post, Hughey enjoys some of Krause’s creations as well as the atmosphere of the Government Street bar and grill.
