Hear The Bad Plus perform an intimate set in the Jazz Listening Room

Sometimes, all you need is a piano, bass and drums. It’s this type of ideology that has solidified The Bad Plus as one of the great experimental jazz trios in the nation. The band performs tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Hartley/Vey Studio as part of the Arts Council’s Jazz Listening Room concert series. Tickets are $10. The Bad Plus might be most known for its cover of Aphex Twin’s “Flim.” Throughout its career, the band has smashed genre lines, combining everything from rock, pop and classical music into its own heady brew.
